1 article & commentary per week per class according to roster

At the top, state:
1.Your name
2.Your class
3.The Term and Week e.g. T1Wk3
4.The title of the article

Article requirements:
1.Covers a significant issue relevant in today’s world
2.Applicable to GP
3.Able to fit into PRESMS
4.No longer than 1500 words
5.Opinion based article as opposed to mere facts
6.Use credible news sources e.g. The New York Times, The Straits Times, The Guardian, Huffington Post, The Washington Post etc.

Commentary:
1.After reading the article, write a 200-300 word response for each of these two questions.
Q1) Who are the parties involved and what are their roles in the issue? What is happening and why?
Q2) How has this issue impacted various stakeholders? (Brainstorm using PRESMS. You should examine the impact on at least 2 stakeholders.)

Timeline:
1.Article and commentary is due EVERY MONDAY 6 pm LATEST
2.Send it to my email address: Sabrina_lim@acjc.edu.sg
3.I will vet and the articles should be posted on the blog by Wednesday latest

•Discussion:
1.I will also post 2-3 Discussion Questions specific to each article
2.Everyone, including the person who wrote the article, is supposed to respond to a MINIMUM of 2 questions. You can choose among 3 articles.
3.You can respond directly to the discussion question or a comment posted by another student.
4.Make sure your response is substantial, purposeful and NOT aggressive.
5.All comments should be in by Sunday.
